Birmingham is set to hear the dices rolling and cards been shuffled as planning permission has been granted to open a new Genting Casino in Birmingham. The £120 million Birmingham casino complex will open at the NEC in Birmingham, which is next to the LG Arena and located close to Birmingham Airport.
The decision to open this new Birmingham Genting Casino was
made the Solihull Council and it was last year that this council granted the
licence for a large casino to open. Not only will this site hold a new Genting
Casino but all a hotel, spa, multi-screen cinema, conference and banqueting
centre and also a designers shopping outlet have all been proposed for this new
site.
This new Birmingham casino will be a Genting Casino and it
is thought that it might take up to two years to build this new Birmingham
Genting Casino and get it ready for customers. Genting UK said by opening this
new Genting Birmingham Casino it will create more that 1,100 full time jobs.
This new Genting Birmingham Casino will add to the numerous
other Genting Casinos that are currently in operation across the UK. There are
Genting Casinos in operation is most UK cities and there five alone in London.
Resorts World at The NEC is the name that has been assigned
to the new complex and will hold the Birmingham Genting Casino and if the plan
goes ahead to schedule this new Genting Casino could be open to the waiting
public by early 2014.
