Grosvenor
Casino Swansea, one of the many land based casinos from this huge name in the
casino industry is getting ready to raise money for charity in an endurance
test. Staff from the Grosvenor Casino Swansea have put their casino brains to
one side and put on their trainers as they get ready to take on the Brecon
Beacons on the 12th May.
This very
tough challenge is all in the aid of charity as the Grosvenor Casino Swansea
staff is raising money for the Marie Curie Cancer Care – a charity which
provides high quality care to patients with cancer and other illnesses at the
end of their lives.
There are
four teams from the Grosvenor Casino Swansea who will be taking on the mammoth
endurance test which has a six mile adventure assault course and comprises of
both man-made and natural obstacles all to raise money which will go towards
helping terminally ill people.
Alison
Millard, the Grosvenor Casino Swansea casino administrator and also the person
who got all the teams signed up believes that this is a great event and also a
great chance for the casino to have some fun while working together to raise
money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Claire
Notman who is from Marie Curie (Regional Events Fundraiser) is pleased that
Grosvenor Casino Swansea is taking on the challenge and thinks that is will be
a muddy day for all the competitors, but also thinks that it is a great fun way
to raise funds for this charity.
