The Genting Casino in Southport is set to get a new home
after an announcement was made for work to be carried out on this land based
casino. This New Genting Casino is part of the £30 million Waterfront
development that Southport has received over the past few years and work to
give Genting Casino in Southport a new home is scheduled to begin in September.
This refurbishment for Genting Casino Southport will cost in
the region of £2 million and it will include the very latest in gaming
technology. In addition to that this new
land based casino will have a terrace which will overlook the Marine Lake which
customers will be able to enjoy inbetween games at the Genting Casino.
Bosses of this new Genting Casino are hoping to open up
their casino doors to customers in early 2013 and this Genting Casino will be
situated on Southport’s Waterfront. This redevelopment to the Waterfront
started a few years ago and before work finished on improving the Waterfront
Genting Casino signed up to be part of the development.
Along with this new Genting Casino the Waterfront includes a
Ramada Plaza Hotel which opened in October 2008 and also Fino’s restaurant.
Genting Casino is part of the Genting UK group who are
currently one of the largest casino operators in the UK. They have in operation
over 40 land based casinos from all across the UK and these include many London
casinos, one of which is the Maxmis Casino Club London.
