Isle of Man Hopes to Open New Casino
The Isle of Man government wants to open a brand new hotel and casino complex and it has received some exciting responses. The deadline for responses is the 31st January 2012, so the government is urging parties to contact them if they are thinking of getting involved in this opportunity.
Opening a casino on the Isle of Man is what the government believes will be the next step to making the Isle of Man an international gaming industry hub. Minister John Shimmin has been pleased with the responses that have been received to date and he says that ‘many are very interesting.’
Mr Shimmin also believes that the development of an Isle of Man casino along with a 5-star hotel complex will create many jobs, not only in the construction industry but also in the leisure industry. It is thought that this Isle of Man casino will attract not only seasonal gamers but also boost visitors to the Island.
Tim Craine, the Director of Economic Development said: “The Isle of Man offers a unique location for a top-class hotel and spa leisure complex and securing a high quality facility like this will be an asset for our economy.
“We hope that the development of a new hotel and Isle of Man casino will be a catalyst for growing visitor business on the Island over the next decade.”
What name of this new Isle of Man casino will be remains to be heard, however when the deadline has passed, hopefully we will be able to bring your more information about this brand new casino that will open its doors on the Isle of Man.
