Friday saw the news that the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) had fully revoked the licence of Full Tilt Poker bringing to an end the speculation about the company's future following the closure of their US business back in June 2011.
There is still a slim hope that Full Tilt's licence could be renewed if new owners can be found for the company but this isn't likely to set aside the fears of the many players who have seen their funds frozen.
US Prosecutors are still continuing with action against the Poker giant after describing Full Tilt as a "global Ponzi scheme" intended to line the pockets of it's board members with it's players account funds.
The one hope on the horizon for Full Tilt players who have had their accounts frozen after the revocation of Full Tilt's licence is a potential deal on the table by French investors Groupe Bernard Tapie who have offered to repay the $300 million the company owes it's players should a deal go through.
